Professor Robert S. Hatten has told about him: “Severino Ortiz Rey is a technically gifted pianist whose sense of gesture infuses everything he plays.
He can project a line that is both lyrical and declamatory, sweet and yet tragic, in teasing out the "jondo" character in the works of Albeniz and de Falla.
Listening, you feel part of a culture where emotion is universal.
And he effortlessly spins magical textures out of the most virtuosic of passages.
His performances are not to be missed!”
